Ingredients

  • 800 g frozen peas
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 1/2 cups grated pecorino
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  • STEP 1
    Put the peas into a bowl.
  • STEP 2
    Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • STEP 3
    Grate the pecorino.
  • STEP 4
    Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet.
  • STEP 5
    Add garlic, stir for a minute.
  • STEP 6
    Add partly defrozen peas.
  • STEP 7
    Stir for about 5 minutes over high heat.
  • STEP 8
    Season.
  • STEP 9
    Mash the peas.
  • STEP 10
    Add 2 tbsp olive oil and the grated pecorino.
  • STEP 11
    Stir.
