Ingredients
- 50g Butter
- 200g Caster Sugar
- Zest of 1 Orange
- 100ml Orange juice
- 3 eggs separated
- 50g Plain Flour
- 250ml Milk
Method
- STEP 1Heat the oven to 180c
- STEP 2Beat together butter, sugar and zest.
- STEP 3One at a time add juice, egg yolks, flour and milk mix until you have a smooth batter
- STEP 4Whisk the egg whites until stiff, fold into batter, gently with a metal spoon.
- STEP 5Pour batter into 4 or 6 depending on size, greased dishes and bake in a baking tray filled with enough hot water to come half way up the outside of the dishes.
- STEP 6Bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned and set.
