Ingredients

  • 9oz Margarine
  • 12oz rolled oats
  • 6oz Demerara sugar
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup

Method

  • STEP 1
    Melt the margarine and syrup
  • STEP 2
    Add sugar to mixture until it is all melted
  • STEP 3
    Take the saucepan off the heat
  • STEP 4
    Stir in the oats
  • STEP 5
    Put them in a non stick baking tin/ grease proof paper - 10 inches by 12 inches
  • STEP 6
    Put the mixture in the tin - spread it evenly
  • STEP 7
    Set oven to Gas mark 5 and put in the mixture for 20 minutes
  • STEP 8
    Take them out and cut it into 24 bars while it is hot
  • STEP 9
    Leave to cool in tin
  • STEP 10
    Take it out the tin and eat!!!
