Love this, it's a staple recipe in my house though I also add courgettes. N.b. I beleive it's been added as a quick and easy template recipe, so you can add the goodies ready meals leave out, I say ignore these comments, they obviously don't have much culinary creativity. Highly recommend.

Totally agree MBurgin! What place does this "Dolmio" junk have on a cooking website?! Bewildered! If you can't make a creamy tomato sauce or a basic roux you should be looking here for the tips how too, not go to the shops and buy gloop in a jar! Shame on you GF!

Rubbish recipe. Of course it's easy to make - the main ingredients are all shop-bought sauces. You may as well just buy a ready meal and have done with it.

Very tasty. I made this for a tennis club supper (for 8 hungry ladies - I doubled the quantities), served it with garlic bread and salad and they enjoyed it. For a bit of extra 'greenery' I added two chopped courgettes to the onions and mushrooms. I will definitely be making it again!

Great recipe. Made this for visitors coming on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very easy. Ideally for a supper for a Saturday night in front of the television. Have passed recipe onto friend.
