Just finished making these and they are really nice. If you use smaller cases you can make 12 instead of 6.

Wow-the best chocolate muffin recipe I've found! The melted chocolate makes them lovely and rich and moist. Quick to make and cooked in a fan oven at 180 for 20 mins and were perfect.

excellent recipe but i disagree with the quantities - i think it makes nearly double what is expected!! i doubled the recipe with the intention of making 12 muffins and i now have nearly 24. just a note for others.

Just made these, but they don't look as chocolatey as the picture would suggest they should be. I followed the recipe and also there was loads of mixture. Made 12 big muffins. Waiting for them to cool and try them. x

Sadly, this recipe tasted awful. I've made loads of things from BBC good food in the past and all have been delicious. I think the 300g of flour just made it taste bready. Really disappointing :(

I just made them! I didn't double the amounts, but I got 15 normal muffins out of it. But that doesn't matter, my family loves to eat them. :)
