Jen's Crispie Bars

A quick easy variation of the chocolate crispie cake .Yummy!

Method

  1. Melt marg/butter,syrup and Mars bars (cut into small pieces),slowly in a pan or in a large bowl in microwave on low setting.
  2. Stir in the rice crispies a little at a time ,making sure they are all coated with the mixture
  3. Tip into a 20 x 30 cm tray and smooth over with the back of a wooden spoon
  4. Cool in fridge for 30 mins. Melt chocolate and smooth over the surface
  5. Leave to set anc turn out onto greaseproof paper and cut into 12 .Enjoy!

    Mars bars are great for crispie cakes, and so are milky ways. It's a good way to use up individual sweets (from the celebrations tin) after Xmas.
