  • a thick slice baguette
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • good-quality sardines, from a can
  • rocket

Method

  1. Toast a thick slice of baguette. Cut the garlic clove in half and rub the cut side over the surface.
  2. Halve the tomato and squeeze and rub the flesh over the bread.
  3. Top with the sardines and rocket.
