This is almost embarrassingly easy - i have made it twice for work now, once for a bake sale and once for my birthday and both times it has been gobbled up by all and I've been asked countless times for the recipe, but am almost reluctant to pass it on because it is so simple I feel I have been deceiving people as to how well I can 'bake'! Fabulous, will make again and again - plus the left over popcorn is a nice bonus!

Dangerously tasty and extremely easy to make. All done in 30minutes and a great party treat.
With reference to "suejhs" just zap the white chocolate in a microwaveable dish for 60-90 seconds, stirring every 30secs . It melts far quicker than the milk chocolate. I have the exact tray suggested and it has worked well each time. Popcorn has stayed crunchy in fridge for 3 days - the bits that lasted that long!

This recipe is deeply flawed. White chocolate is very difficult to melt successfully - my first try was a disaster, my second not much better, despite taking p;lots of precautions, so it wasn't really possible to swirl it with the milk chocolate or to drizzle it over the popcorn. The baking tray size seemed too big; even thinly spread, the chocolate didn't fill the tray. The popcorn quickly goes soft. It sounded good - I am very disappointed.

What problem did you have melting white chocolate? I bought very cheap chocolate (Aldi) and melted it to two min in the microwave (low-medium heat) - no problems. You need to leave it to stand for a few min before 'swirling' though.

I have used maltesers instead of popcorn and now going to try meringue pieces and maltesers.
Guys at work love it!

I made these for a film night with my friends, and my sister (who got them before I left) said they were the best thing she ever tasted and demanded more for her friends! It was very quick to set - only an hour or so. :)

Enjoyed this however the popcorn goes soft fairly quickly and not so good. I also had a problem with the white chocolate and couldnt get it to melt had this problem once before and think that there are different 'types' of white chocolate. I'd make it again if there was a crowd of people to eat it before it went soft.

My children can't get enough of this. Better than anything I have bought from a shop. And they take great pleasure from making it themselves.

Have made this twice for the same group of friends - the second time it disappeared in minutes! Used more popcorn than recommended, white malteasers idea sounds good too.

Made this for a bonfire party tonight. Lovely - I added some white maltesers as I had half a bag left and worked a treat.

Think I will try this at Christmas. Might try with half salted popcorn too, to cash in on the current trend for sweet and salty.
