Ingredients

  • 14oz black beans
  • 2 cup rice
  • 2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

salt and peper for taste

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Optional - grilled chicken or shrimp

Method

  • STEP 1
    Bring chicken stock to a boil cover and add rice - cook for 15 minutes
  • STEP 2
    Add tomato sauce and butter - cook for another 2 minutes
  • STEP 3
    Wash black beans until water runs clear and add - cook for another 2 minutes
  • STEP 4
    Optional - add grilled chicken or shrimp
