I made this recipe for a Saturday night dinner with guests. I honestly couldn't believe I'd made it. It was delicious and full of flavour. I also served it mid week to my children who loved it. Great recipe.

Giving this a go tonight, I’ll bear in mind the tweaks suggested here. It says it’s good for midweek or a Saturday, I’ll let you know how it does on a Friday.

Really enjoyed this and quick and easy to throw together! I echo the thoughts of others and advise on using much less creme fraiche - I used just 150ml and found this to be just right. Will definitely be making again!

This is really tasty but i preferred it with far less creme fraiche - it tasted richer in flavour before i added it and regretted putting it all in straight away. i'd recommend adding half the creme fraiche if you prefer a fuller, slightly less 'creamy' flavour.

I agree. This recipe is a hit with the family and whilst I love a creamy sauce my wife and 21 month old like it slightly less creamy. Add the crème in stages to get it the consistency you like it. Lemon juice is nice on the rocket but would ditch it from the pan.

Great quick midweek dish that everyone in the family will eat and enjoy. I pack in some extra green veg (usually broccoli) otherwise it can look rather 'red' and it just makes it easier on the eye. I often eat leftovers the next day for lunch cold. I roast a chicken and pull the meat off to add into the pasta near the end (plus use remaining for other dishes/packed lunches) I prefer the texture/taste of a roast chicken and find it much more cost effective than breasts. This has become a family staple. Thanks BBC Good Food.

This was a fantastic quick dish. I cooked for my friend, who was impressed, as my track record of cooking pasta hasn't always been a winner! Instead of tomatoes I used a pasta sauce, which worked really well. I didn't use the pesto either. I used Balsamic glaze instead of the vinegar and served with some crème fresh on the side - a real treat and a compliments the dish. THANK YOU!

Great dish even my 10 year old daughter loved it (without the chilli) but can I freeze it?
