I made this to go with the duck as pictured and really enoyed it. My boyfriend did too and he's not the biggest fan of rice dishes at all. I think I bought smoked bacon lardons by mistake as it was a bit strong, and I didn't really read how much cabbage I was meant to be put in but I wished once I was eating it I had put more in as it was so tasty in it. Quick, easy and yummy. Good enough to eat on it's own actually. Almost forgot - I also added egg to make it more of an egg fried rice.

I love this recipe. I would never use microwave rice for anything else, but it really works here. This is a huge hit in my house and goes perfectly with the hoisin duck. It also works fine with no cabbage.

Very tasty - served it with the soy roast duck with hoisin gravy. Will use it with other recipes.

Didn't make this with the duck and so did not have the marinade so I just used plenty of soy sauce instead. The recipe makes enougth for 3 if eating it on its own. It was really tasty!
