  • 8 pork sausages
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 8 baguettes, to serve
  • salad leaves, to serve


  1. Toss sausages in oil in a roasting tin and roast at 200C/180C fan/ gas 6 for 20 mins until browned.

  2. Mix soy sauce, honey and mustard together. Drain the fat from the sausages and pour over most of the soy mix, coating thoroughly. Return to the oven for 10 mins until sticky. Serve in baguettes with salad leaves and the remaining soy mix.

The flavours were really lovely with these sausages, but frustratingly, I found that the sauce didn't really stick to sausages because of the oil I had tossed them in for the first stage of cooking. Personally, I think this recipe would work much better on the BBQ, where you can dispense with the oil altogether; put the sausages straight on the grate, and baste with the sauce for the final ten minutes.

Had all this in store cupboard or freezer, could of had Mucd,colonel S, or other fast food but had this soooooo much nicer MMMMMMM
