Really lovely. I usually replace mange tout with baby sweetcorn and soya beans with broad beans and that’s always worked out nicely too. Easy and fun to make and tastes great

Was very easy to make. Swapped mange tout for spring onions and added a clove of garlic. Really tasty.

Yummy. I've never used a recipe for pasta before, so as an experiment I followed it closely - I even weighed out the ingredients, with a few changes. The result was really tasty and definitely something I'll add to my repertoire for mid-week meals. Instead of mange tout I used flat green beans (they go really well with lemon) and left out frozen peas so increased the amount of the other greens. I also used 2 lemons (they were small though) and a full tub of that light well known soft cheese (with a bit more cooking water so it wasn't claggy) and so didn't bother with the Parmesan. The lemon and basil flavours were lovely. There was enough for 2 decent portions.

Really wasn't keen on this at all. Not sure if it was the lemon and mascarpone combo clashing, or if I stepped wrong somewhere along the line as everyone else seems to rave about it...! Think I'll ditch the lemon and stick to a trusty garlic base in future.

Cooked for myself (attempting to reduce meat!!) tonight to check whether it would be nice to make for my partner. Really quick to make and really tasty - no soya beans though so just added a bit extra broccoli. Had everything in and just had to buy really light soft cheese to keep fat down. Definitely make again - might had some chunks of ham but loved it just as it is!

Mm mm delicious and so easy . Love the "lemonyness" . Although the recipe doesn't mention seasoning , the method does

Great recipe - took the advice below of adding less lemon (just used half) and it turned out great :). Add some black pepper.

This was a bit too lemony for my taste. Otherwise, it is good, and definitely a nice jumping-off point for adding other ingredients (chilli, ham, etc.).

Just made this for my family of 4 and decided it's like a posh and healthier mac cheese! We used 250g of mascarpone for 400g pasta and no lemon. I didn't use any of the veg above, except for brocolli and then added sweetcorn and peas, as well as some ham at the end. Yum!!
