  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 25g garlic butter, softened

  • 25g crispy breadcrumbs


  1. Place the chicken on a baking tray, rub with a little of the butter, season and cook under the grill for 15 mins, turning once until cooked through.

  2. Mix together the remaining garlic butter and breadcrumbs. Remove the chicken from the grill and top each breast with a smear of the breadcrumbed butter. Return to the grill and cook 3-5 mins until the breadcrumbs are golden and the butter melted. Serve any buttery juices, alongside new potatoes and peas or broad beans.

Really tasty. Did in the oven and added Parmesan. Will definitely make again and will be a firm favourite

Really easy, tasty mid week meal. Took advice from previous comments and added parmesan to the breadcumbs which was yummy. Served with herby new potatoes and a green salad.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely, very tasty and really easy to do. I added Parmesan to the garlic butter and breadcrumbs, also I flattened my chicken breasts a bit for quicker cooking time. Served with salad and potatoe salad, yummy!

Husband loved it and pretty easy to cook. Make sure to tip all the garlicky chicken juice from the tray back onto the chicken once served as it would be a waste not to. Served with sweet potato chips and salad

Very nice and easy too. Me and my 10 year old loved it. All the flavour of a Kiev without being too unhealthy. Served with sweet potato wedges and petit pois, was yummy.

Swiftly becoming a Friday night regular, served with some homemade potato wedges. Halved the ingredients (only 2 of us), but garlic butter needs 2 cloves to make it work best

Always comes out perfect. I do not slice chicken breast in half - just flatten with rolling pin. Good with minted new potatoes and roasted veg.

Chicken was really moist and it's really satisfying and tasty considering it's a lower fat recipe.

Hi Yvonne, this is cooked on the grill setting of your oven rather than on the convection or fan settings.
