Method

  1. Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the pasta according to pack instructions. About 3 mins before the pasta is cooked, throw in the broccoli. When everything is done, drain, reserving about 100ml of the cooking water.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, grill the bacon for 6-7 mins until crisp, then cut into bite-size pieces. Tip everything into the pasta pan, toss together well and loosen with a little of the cooking water, if needed. Sprinkle over the Parmesan and serve.

Very quick and easy to make. didn't think it would be as tasty as it was, the smoky bacon add's alot of flavour. Great dish to make to take to work.

the family really enjoyed this and it was very tasty and quick. I used Sacla Roasted pepper pesto and it was lovely served with ciabatta bread.

really disapointed when did this using a tomato and mascarponi sauce and garlic bread, the strong flavours drowned out the smoky bacon and broccoli flavours, would definatley stick with the original recipe and ciabatta bread

Make a similar dish, I fry the bacon with a little olive oil an onion and a couple of garlic gloves. mix together with some farfalle pasta and then layer in an oven/caserole dish with some good mature cheese. Tasty!

Quick, easy, economic and not unhealthy. Didn't taste incredible though - could be partly because I used normal back bacon rather than smoked?

you would have thought people who wrote recipes and know all about "good food" would know the difference between vegetarian and MEAT. I find this really worrying.
