    I received my Good Food magazine in the mail this a.m. but was disgusted by the amount of junk mail included. 10 pieces altogether. Not good enough.

    I have picked elderflowers and made them into cordials over the last two weeks. I put it all into sterilised glass bottles/beer bottles/plastic containers and plastic milk containers. What I now want to do is transfer the lot into a couple of demi-johns which I will sterilise. What I’d like to know is - do I have to sterilise the cordial before doing this? By boiling it, for example?

    Hi Sue, Provided you have sterilised all the equipment, you can transfer from one to the other. I wouldn't advise reboiling anything as the flavour might be compromised. I hope this helps, Lulu

    I would really like to join your healthy eating plan but am gluten intolerant so can't eat oats (even gluten free ones), please could you suggest some replacement meals for the ones containing oats?

    I live in the United States and am desperate to have my saved recipes from childhood (around 120 recipes) converted to metric. I’m tired of all those aggravating measuring cups and measuring spoons. I’m gonna purchase a really nice scale tomorrow. Does anyone know of a place or business I could send my childhood recipes to in order to have them converted to metric? I don’t trust myself to do this undertaking correctly. Thank you!
