PS if you roll the base out really thin which I love you can up the oven temperature (I preheated the baking sheet and cooked on gas 9) and cook it really quickly (5 to 10 mins) for a really crisp finish.

This recipe for the base works really well with the cheese, crisp and melt in the mouth! However I used butter (I will try olive oil next time too). I don't believe in margarine as it not only tastes foul but is always full of hardened trans fats no matter how the labels try to kid us (they turn liquid vegetable oil into hard/spreadable fat, it's just wrong!). I used anchovy, red pepper, cheddar (I ran out of mozerella) and onion on top of the tomatoe puree base. It was yummy thank you. I couldn't finish it and my Spaniel thought it was the best leftovers ever lol.

It doesnt state the amount of time it takes to cook and prepare this dish but overall very helpful.

Great scone base pizza! Did not add cheese to base mix as not sure kids would like extra cheesey base and made own pizza sauce using cup of tom ketchup and tablespoon of dried mixed herbs. Then just top with grated cheese!

Great quick and easy recipe! My kids (and us adults loved it)!

Great pizza base recipe. Took minutes to make the base, threw on some tomato pasta sauce (from a jar, was in a rush!), grated cheddar on top and, ta-da!, kids' lunch. Will return to this recipe time and again.
