  • 500g Tenderstem broccoli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • knob of butter
  • 2 small garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 small red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 50g white breadcrumbs

Method

  1. Steam the broccoli for 5 mins until tender. Meanwhile, heat the oil and butter in a pan, then fry the garlic and chilli for 1 min.
  2. Add the breadcrumbs, then fry for 5 mins until crisp. Season the broccoli, arrange in a dish, then scatter over the spicy breadcrumbs and serve immediately.

my mum always used to make it. LOVE IT! the breadcrumbs work really well with normal broccoli and cauliflower aswell! yum yum!!!
