Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160C/ 140 fan/ Gas mark 3.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and spread onto a baking sheet. Cook for 15 - 20 mins until dry and golden. Stir once during cooking. Allow to cool and store in a sealed container for up to 3 weeks.

This is addictive, pure and simple. The flavours are divine, and it just makes for such an easy snack to make and eat. Would really recommend it!

Decided to make this late in the evening - woke up the next morning wondering why the house smelt so good! I used tamari rather than soy sauce. Overall flavour is good but delicate - I'll make these again but double the seasonings. Great to sprinkle over soups or salads, anyway.

Ras el Hanout is a blend of morrocan spices, I bought mine in my local supermarket. I'm looking forward to trying this recipe and you can use the spice mix in most morrocan recipes. Hope this helps bigliz
