Ingredients

Salmon

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • black and white sesame seeds

Marinade

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • black and white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste (can use miso soup paste packets instead)
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil

Method

  • STEP 1
    Combine the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the salmon in this for at least half an hour.
  • STEP 2
    Pan-fry the salmon.
  • STEP 3
    Serve with the remaining marinade as sauce, and with rice.
