potato pie with bacon

Ingredients
- 800 gr potatoes
- 200 gr bacon lardons
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 res onion in rings
- 2 gloves of garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
- 2 eggs
- 200ml double cream or creme fraiche
- 50 gr grated cheese
Method
- STEP 1boil the potatoes 15 minutes. Cool them and cut them into slices
- STEP 2In the mantime fry of the bacon lardons with the thyme and garlic
- STEP 3preheat the oven at 180 C
- STEP 4Put half of the potato slices in an ovenproof dish and season them.
- STEP 5put half of the bacon and the red onion over it.
- STEP 6repeat this with the rest of the potatoes and bacon and onion
- STEP 7Whisk the eggs with the cream and season it. Pour this over the potatoes. Cover it with the grated cheese
- STEP 8Bake the potatoes in the oven for 30 minutes
