Ingredients
- 100g Toor Dal per person
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 Tsp Coriander
- 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds (optional)
- Onion - Chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves - Crushed
- Olive Oil - 1 Tbsp
Method
- STEP 1Fry onion and garlic in the oil for a couple of mins then add cumin, turmeric and coriander. Fry for another minute.
- STEP 2Add lentils to the fried mixture, stir, add water (4cm above lentils), cover and cook for 45 mins. Use a potato masher to break it up a bit.
