  • 175g self raising flour
  • 175g butter
  • 75g caster sugar
  • Optionals
  • 50g chocolate
  • Hundreds and thousands
  • Butter must be VERY soft


    1. Sir the butter and sugar together Preheated the oven to 170c or gas5
    2. Add the flour and stir
    3. Keep stirring until it form s a soft dough
    4. Put the mix into a pipping bag and swirl the mix onto a baking tray
    5. Put in the oven until golden brown
    6. Leave to cool then decorate

I can't believe how good these are! Flour, butter and sugar, mixed up and piped onto baking sheets. Add some jam and butter cream in between 2 and there you have it. Easiest thing I have ever made. Great!

I just made these but followed the hairy biker recipe and I found the mixture was really hard and even split my piping bag. What should the consistency be like to pipe them without it melting ???
