100g Good Quality Plain Chocolate (Milk works but wont be as rich)
35g Butter
Optional
Pinch Ground Cinnamon
Tablespoon of Fruit Syrup (Perfect if you are using the sauce for tinned fruit)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence

Method
step 1
To make the chocolate sauce, tip the chocolate and butter into a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan of simmering hot water. (take care to ensure the bottom of the bowl is not in contact with the water). Stir until the chocolate has combined with the butter.
