Savoury Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 1/2 kg beef mince
- 1/2 kg pork mince
- 2 slices of fresh bread made into crumbs
- 1 packet of dry mushroom simmer soup mix (or try mushroom, tomato, mixed veg, french onion or anything that takes your fancy!)
- 3 beef stock cubes
- 1 tsp garlic powder or 3 cloves of fresh garlic crushed
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 tsp ground black pepper (or to taste)
- 1 large egg
Method
- STEP 1Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl
- STEP 2Mix thoroughly to evenly distribute all the seasonings
- STEP 3Pack the mixture into a loaf tin
- STEP 4Bake at gas mark 6 for about an hour or until the meat is cooked.
- STEP 5Serve with mash and a choice of veggies.
