Ingredients
- 125g treacle
- 125g golden syrup
- 125g dairy free butter
- 125g brown sugar
- 275g plain flour
- half tsp baking soda
- 1tsp ginger
- 150ml dairy free milk
Method
- STEP 1preheat oven gas 2/150
- STEP 2line square18cm tin
- STEP 3put treacle,golden syrup+margarine in a pot heat gently till melted
- STEP 4sieve flour,baking soda+ginger in a large bowl make a well in the centre and pour in milk and treacle mix, beat well till smooth
- STEP 5pour into tin and bake for an hour, cool in tin for one hour+turn on to wire rack. when cool wrap in greaseproof paper for 2 days
