Ingredients

  • 4 free range eggs
  • 350ml/12fl oz milk
  • 225g/8oz plain flour

Method

  • STEP 1
    Mix eggs and milk together in a jug. Put the flour in a bowl and then slowly and gently whisk in the egg and milk mix. Don't over whisk - lumps are ok. Rest the mixture at room temperature for at least four hours. The lumps will have disappeared
  • STEP 2
    Oven temp 200C/400F/gas 6
