- 175 gr sugar
- Lemon rind, cinnamon bark
- 150ml red wine
- 150ml water
Method
- STEP 1Slowly bring red wine, water, cinnamon bark, lemon rind and sugar to the boil, stir until the sugar dissolves
- STEP 2Pop in the pears and poach for half an hour or so.
