Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cabbage
  • 500g Turkey Mince
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 400g Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp Cayene Pepper
  • Basil
  • Parsley

Method

  • STEP 1
    Steam the cabbage until soft
  • STEP 2
    Beat the egg and hand mix with the turkey, roll into 6 balls and flatten to make pattes
  • STEP 3
    Wrap the turky pattes in the cabbage (you may have some cabbage left over - save this for later)
  • STEP 4
    push the pattes into the bottom of a saucepan and add stock with boiling water and tomatoes, basil, parsley and cayene pepper (plus any remaining cabbage) making sure the pattes remain submerged
  • STEP 5
    Leave on the boil for 45 minutes, check turkey is cooked through and blend
