A nice simple and filling soup with a kick, perfect for the cold winter nights

  • 1/2 Cabbage
  • 500g Turkey Mince
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 400g Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp Cayene Pepper
  • Basil
  • Parsley


    1. Steam the cabbage until soft
    2. Beat the egg and hand mix with the turkey, roll into 6 balls and flatten to make pattes
    3. Wrap the turky pattes in the cabbage (you may have some cabbage left over - save this for later)
    4. push the pattes into the bottom of a saucepan and add stock with boiling water and tomatoes, basil, parsley and cayene pepper (plus any remaining cabbage) making sure the pattes remain submerged
    5. Leave on the boil for 45 minutes, check turkey is cooked through and blend
