easy to bake and too easy to eat! close textured and very more-ish! TIP: best served slightly warm

  • 20cm cake tin
  • 125g sugar
  • 125g self raising flour
  • 125g butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1tblsp whole milk
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2tsp vanilla paste


  1. preheat oven to 180°

  2. grease and line tin

  3. cream sugar and butter until smooth

  4. beat in the eggs

  5. add in the vanilla paste

  6. sift in the flour and cinnamon

  7. add in the milk

  8. pour into tin and smooth out until even

  9. bake for 20-25mins

  10. leave to cool for 5mins before removing from the tin

  11. place on wire rack until cool

  12. cut, serve and enjoy!
