Simple and tasty bread

This is a basic recipe for a loaf of bread, it can be polished, by adding e.g. some grains or switching the type of flour.


  • 250g wholegrain flour
  • 250g white flour
  • 350ml water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 package dry yeast


  • STEP 1
    Mix all the ingredients till you have a nice and soft dough. Then cover it and let the dough rise for an hour. Mix it again and put it into a greased backing form. Brush some water on top of the dough and put it into the oven for 40-50 minutes. I start to bake at 220° and reduce it after roughly half the time. This depends on the form you choose for baking.
