  • 1 1/2 kg apples
  • 1/2 kg plums
  • 125 ml water
  • 325 gms sugar to every 1/2 ltr pulp

Method

  • step 1

    Slice apples without peeling or coring. Place with plums on the trivet in the pressure cooker. Add water.
  • step 2

    Bring to full pressure and cook for a minute.
  • step 3

    Cool and sieve the fruit. Measure the pulp and add sugar in proportion.
  • step 4

    Boil in open vessel till a set is obtained. Cool.
  • step 5

    Fill jars and seal.
