Easy to make spread for any sandwich

  • 1 large peeled and cubed sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • juice from 1/2 lemon or 1 lime
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • salt and pepper to taste


    1. Steam or boil the sweet potato until very tender.
    2. Puree in food processor along with tahini, olive oil, garlic cloves, cumin, paprika, lemon juice, orange zest and maple syrup.
