CUTTING UP A FEW FRESH FRUITS AND ADDING TO A BOWL ISN’T ‘ROCKET SCIENCE’ BUT I HAVE NOTICED THAT IT IS RARELY PREPARED WELL . MAKING YOUR OWN IS CHEAPER, HEALTHIER, LASTS LONGER AND TASTES BETTER.

Method
step 1
1 Place the orange on a chopping board and using a sharp knife slice off the top and bottom of the orange to expose the flesh. 2 Holding the orange in place with one hand, work around the orange with the knife in the other, carefully removing all of the outer skin to expose orange flesh, no white pith. Keep the orange skin you have removed to one side. 4 Carefully work the knife down the side of each exposed orange segment, leaving the skin membrane behind. Add the orange segments to a clean bowl Squeeze any remaining juice from the skin you have cut off over the freshly sliced oranges . You now have the ideal base to make mouth watering fresh fruit salad!
step 2
Add all the other fruit as above, mix through, cover and chill ready for use! Delicious with natural yoghurt, creme fraiche or ice-cream!
