Smoked Mackerel Lemon & Herb Pate

Gorgeous, simple and effortlessly easy


  • 250g smoked mackerel, flaked
  • 200g cream cheese (full fat)
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1-2 tblsp creamed horseradish
  • 2tblsp chopped parsley
  • 2tblsp chopped chives


  • STEP 1
    Blend smoked mackerel, cheese, lemon juice and zest with a fork or in a food processor
  • STEP 2
    Stir in herbs and horseradish
  • STEP 3
    Chill until ready to serve, with slices of whole-grain toast and wedges of lemon
