  • 200g butter
  • 100g light muscovado sugar
  • 55g rolled/porridge oats
  • 120g wholemeal flour

Method

  • step 1

    Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 5/ 180C.
  • step 2

    Beat the butter, sugar and then gradually the egg.
  • step 3

    Fold in the flour, nuts, porridge oats and spoon onto a lined baking tray.
  • step 4

    Bake for 15-25 minutes or until golden.
  • step 5
