  • 142g pudding rice
  • 397ml skimmed milk
  • 8 tbsp sweetener
  • 1tsp crushed cardamom seeds
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • Vanilla extract

Method

  • step 1

    Per heat oven 150. Rinse rice under cold water and place in a 1.5 litre ovenproof dish
  • step 2

    Place milk water sweetener cardamom seeds and pods in saucepan. Add vanilla extract. Heat gently until almost simmering, pour over rice and stir well
  • step 3

    Place in oven for 1.5 hours stirring after first 30 mins. If pudding seems runny return to oven and check every Ten minutes. Remove from oven and rest for ten minutes
