The light, lively blend of seeds and spices gives to the delicious soup its unique flavour, and the almond juice its velvety consistency.
This soup is my own creation. A recipe to stay heathy. I used great healthy ingredients such as tumeric, ginger, hemp seeds, sweet potatoes, etc. They
are rich in vitamins , mineral, beta carotene., high in fibre and have a low-glycemic index.
I love to create soups that are good for the health. I can combine my passion for wellness and cooking.
The recipe won the first price at the Ottawa Health and Wellness Annual Exhibition.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cauliflower cut into florets
- 4 sweet potatoes
- 4 walnuts
- 1 teaspoon linseed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 4 tablespoons of hemp seed
- 1 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt and some pepper
- 1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 cup of almond juice
Method
- STEP 1Cook the cauliflower and sweet potatoes in 750ml of water Put in the blender as soon as they are softened
- STEP 2Finely chop the walnuts and hemp seed in a chopper Add this to the cauliflower and sweet potato mixture Story
- STEP 3Next add the pink Himalayan salt, the finely chopped ginger, the chia seeds and the cumin, and the pepper. Stir all the ingredients together well.
- STEP 4Finally add the almond juice Put in the blender and serve.
