Ingredients

  • 350g chicken breast(boneless)
  • 4 rashers of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teasp mixed herbs
  • 180ml double cream
  • choice of veg (e.g peas,sweetcorn,red pepper)

Equipment:

  • Chopping Board
  • Veg Knife
  • Garlic Crusher
  • Scissors
  • Pan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Temperature Probe
  • Dish

Method

  • STEP 1
    Peel and chop onion + garlic.
  • STEP 2
    Cut bacon into small pieces with scissors.
  • STEP 3
    Gently fry onion, garlic + bacon in a pan.
  • STEP 4
    Chop chicken into bite size pieces and add to pan.
  • STEP 5
    Cook chicken untill it has changed colour-IT IS NOT COOKED AT THIS STAGE.
  • STEP 6
    Prepare all other veg and add to the pan.
  • STEP 7
    Add herbs and cook for 10 mins.
  • STEP 8
    Check chicken with a temperature probe(it should be higher than 80c)
  • STEP 9
    Turn off the heat and stir in the cream.
  • STEP 10
    Add to dish.
  • STEP 11
    Reheat in a microwave when needed.
