Simple Chilli Con Carne

Ingredients
- 750g beef mince
- 2 large onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tins chopped tomatoes
- 3 tbs spoon gravy powder
- 1 to 3 tablespoons chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 tin kidney beans
- 1 packet of mixed peppers
- • 400g long grain rice
Method
- STEP 1Cook rice according to pack instructions
- STEP 2Chop the onion and garlic, and add to the pan with the mince, fry until browned.
- STEP 3Drain off the kidney beans, wash and add to the pan. Add the mixed peppers and chopped tomatoes. Add the chilli, depending on how hot you like it, 1, 2 or 3 tablespoons. Add the cumin.
- STEP 4Let the chilli simmer then add gravy powder to the mixture to thicken
