• 2 weetabix biscuits, crushed
  • 275ml milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 banana
  • 300g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 150g raisins
  • 50g dried apricots
  • 50g glace cherries


  • STEP 1
    Preheat oven to 170c
  • STEP 2
    In a bowel, mix crushed weetabix with the milk. Add the egg and mix. Add the banana and smash into the mix.
  • STEP 3
    Mix in the flour, mixed spice and caster sugar.
  • STEP 4
    Add the rest of the ingridients.
  • STEP 5
    Butter a loaf tin and place grease proof paper on the bottom. Add the mixture. Cook for 90 minutes.
