Ingredients
- 2 average size mugs self raising flour
- 1 mug sugar
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 4oz butter melted
- 1 mug milk
- 1 & 1/2 tbl golden syrup
- 1 egg
Method
- STEP 1Sive all dry ingredients in to a bowl
- STEP 2Add butter, syrup and milk in to dry ingredients and mix in
- STEP 3Add in the egg and beat well
- STEP 4Spoon in to a lined and greased 9" square tin
- STEP 5Cook at 170 for 1/2 to 3/4 hour
- STEP 6Basic icing sugar glaze optional
