- 100g (4oz) soft butter or margarine
- 225g (8oz) icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon (flavour desired) essence

- 100g (4oz) soft butter or margarine

- Food Colouring
Method
- STEP 1Put the butter or margarine into a large bowl and beat well until soft and fluffy.
- STEP 2Sift the icing sugar into the bowl and stir it in.
- STEP 3Add the milk and the essence and beat well until you get a pale and fluffy mixture. If desired add 2-3 drops of food colouring.
