Pre-heat the oven to 200ÃÂúC. Then, mix all the ingredients for the base and spread it evenly into a 22cm pie tin. Place it in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. The base will most likely shrink a little bit.

In the meantime, prepare the sauce in a bowl to have ready, and slice the vegetables. Once the base is cooked, pour the sauce on top and spread evenly, and top with the vegetables. Place it back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Finish the meatzza off by scattering over cheese and add the chorizo over it evenly. Grill on medium for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is golden and melted.
