Ingredients
For the base:
- 350 g turkey mince
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp each salt and pepper, optionally 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
For the sauce:
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- A little salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- A dash of water
For the topping:
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 100-150 g courgette, sliced
- 100-110 g light grated cheese
- 40 g chorizo, sliced
Method
- STEP 1Pre-heat the oven to 200ÃÂúC. Then, mix all the ingredients for the base and spread it evenly into a 22cm pie tin. Place it in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. The base will most likely shrink a little bit.
- STEP 2In the meantime, prepare the sauce in a bowl to have ready, and slice the vegetables. Once the base is cooked, pour the sauce on top and spread evenly, and top with the vegetables. Place it back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
- STEP 3Finish the meatzza off by scattering over cheese and add the chorizo over it evenly. Grill on medium for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is golden and melted.
