Ingredients

  • 2tsp oil
  • 200g bacon lardons
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1tbsp English mustard powder
  • 2tbsp maple surup
  • 1tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 415g can baked beans

Method

  • STEP 1
    Heat oil and fry lardons for 5mins until crisp. Add onion and garlic and cook gently until soft
  • STEP 2
    Stir in mustard powder, maple syrup, vinegar and baked beans. Cook for 5mins until hot.
  • STEP 3
    Season and serve
