Ingredients

  • 50g gravy granules (to suit your choice of meat)
  • 2 puff pastry sheets
  • your own choice of meat
  • and your own choice of veg (optional)

Method

  • STEP 1
    Roll out the puff pastry and start cooking the meat
  • STEP 2
    Cover a cake tin with the pastry
  • STEP 3
    Make the gravy with the instuctions on the tin make it to suit your choice of meat
  • STEP 4
    Pour the gravy into the pastry covered cake tin
  • STEP 5
    put a puff pastry lid onto the gravy pie and brush some wisked egg yolks over the top of the pie and bake in the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  • STEP 6
    place the cooked meat on a plate and serve up the pie with some winter veg (optional)
