Ingredients

  • 250g strong bread flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 sachet dried yeast
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 150ml warm water
  • 20g chorizo, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, sliced
  • rosemary

Method

  • STEP 1
    mix flour, water, salt, yeast, oil and sugar with a fork in a large mixing bowl
  • STEP 2
    kneed the dough until it is very elastic and springly
  • STEP 3
    place the dough in a bag and leave it to rise for about 2 hours (or until it is twice the size) at room temerature
  • STEP 4
    pre heat the oven at 200C
  • STEP 5
    pan fry the red onion and chorizo until onion softens
  • STEP 6
    fold the red onion and chorizo into the dough
  • STEP 7
    place the dough on the baking tray and brush with a water glaze
  • STEP 8
    poke holes into the surface of the bread and push the rosemary into them
  • STEP 9
    bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 200C
