Broad Beans Coconut Curry

Ingredients
- Chopped Broad Beans 500 gms
- Sunflower Oil 2 Tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Split Chillies 4 gms
- Black Gram 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
- Grated coconut 4 Tbsp
- Salt 3 tsp.
- Water 250 ml
Method
- STEP 1Take 500 gms (1/2 Kg) of chopped Broad Beans. Wash well in cold running water.
- STEP 2Cook in a pressure cooker with 250 ml water.
- STEP 3Take it out from the cooker and filter it using a colander.
- STEP 4Take a wok, pour 2 Tbsp Sunflower oil. When the oil get heated, add 1 tsp Mustard seeds when its splutters add Black Gram 2 tsp and Split Chillies 4 gms, fry till golden brown.
- STEP 5Now add the cooked Broad Beans, 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder, 1/4 Asafoetida powder, 3 tsp Salt. Mix well.
- STEP 6Finally add 4 Tbsp Grated coconut. Again mix well.
- STEP 7Hot Broad Beans Coconut Curry is ready to serve.
