• 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato keptchup
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 150ml chicken stock
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour


  • STEP 1
    Place the soy sauce, tomato ketchup, white wine vinegar, chilli sauce, brown sugar, chicken stock, sesame oil in a jug. Blend the cornflour with 2 tsps cold water, then add to the other ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  • STEP 2
    To use, just heat through until the sauce becomes thick. Alternatively if making a stir fry, place in the wok at the end of cooking and heat through until thick.
