Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil/ghee
- 6 tomatoes wedged
- 1 inch ginger matchsticked
- chillies - 2-3
- garlic
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- large onion chopped
- cubed chicken
- tomato puree - 750ml water & 1 tube of puree (200g)

- 2 tsp Coriander
- 2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 2 tsp cumin
Method
- STEP 1Heat the oil and cook onion till soft with a pinch of salt
- STEP 2Add garlic, ginger, chillies and cook to soft
- STEP 3Add tomatoes and raise heat. Cook till they start breaking up
- STEP 4add spices and stir through
- STEP 5add chicken and coat in mixture
- STEP 6Add tomato puree mixture
- STEP 7reduce heat and put a lid on and reduce the sauce
- STEP 8add garam masala at the end
